We are pleased to announce that two ESM manned vessels and one crew member have won themselves awards for BP Shipping’s 2006 HSE Awards held at The National Portrait Gallery at St. Martin’s Place, London on 31st January 2007.
M.T. British Excellence, true to her name, has been awarded the Ship of the Year Award for her team’s effort and commitment to BP Shipping’s Health, Safety and Environmental objectives. Considering the very challenging environment onboard, this achievement has proved without a doubt that the vessel, which sailed under 3 Masters (Capt. Rajeev Pabley, Capt. Anil Kumar and Capt. Ramesh Prabhakaran) during the period, was lead by a team that truly pays attention to details.
The Environmental Award was awarded to M.T. British Eagle, which sailed under two Masters – Capt. Neeraj Sareen and Capt. Gulvinder Singh Gill, and the Individual Award was awarded to A/B Shahrukh Marolia (British Environment).
Hearty congratulations to A/B S. Marolia and the teams who have served on board the British Excellence and British Eagle. Their stellar performance is purely credited to their continued focus, dedication and commitment to achieving this result. Well done and keep up the great performance!
