First Interim ISSC of
Congratulations to Capt. Vijay Cherukuri and his
team on board M.V.Ocean Senang for being awarded the first interim
ISSC among the ESM fleet.The vessel underwent the ISSC external audit
of Class NK last month and passed without any observations.
As you all are aware the hectic activities and
scramble were going on in the maritime world for some time now for
ensuring compliance with the ISPS code to be effected from July,2004.
We are happy to inform that all vessels under ESM
management are now in possession of the advance copy of Ship Security
Plan for quick implementation. The Security Plans of all ships have
been already approved by respective Responsible Security Organisations
for quite some time now.

In fact, Internal
audits of the ships for the SSP implementation have also commenced and
the ships would be receiving their respective certificate as and when
the authorities conduct the audits at convenient port in coming days.
