It is heartening to note that the newsletter is slowly catching the imagination of our regular readers and some of who are also coming out to contribute their thoughts and share their experience with us. We thank you all for your contributions. One such reader is A/B Shashikant Sakar who sailed on MT British Vine during his last tenure. His artistic expression of the vessel has been beautifully portrayed in his “memento” which we have now captured in a photograph for the viewing pleasure of our readers. Indeed, we are pleased to showcase such talent in our fleet and would welcome more such contribution from our sailing staff in future.

We have also included a very thought provoking and practical piece of technical information from our Technical Superintendent K.Srinivas Patnaik, which we are sure would be a valuable guide to all our sailing staff- particularly the engineers.
