The highlight of the month of February was indeed the third anniversary of the partnership of BP shipping and ESM which started on 25th February, 2004 with the taking over of M.T. British Willow under the management of ESM.

It was overwhelming and a pleasant surprise when Mr. Bob Malone, Group Vice President and CEO of the BP shipping stood up and recalled the beginning of this special bond and relationship during his speech to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the BP shipping at Mumbai on Friday, 24th February. The
relations between the two organizations have been growing from strength to strength ever since and as Mr. Bob Malone put it himself, we can all look back with utmost satisfaction at this “wonderful partnership that exists today” between BP and ESM. As he pointed out, BP’s decision to choose ESM over a number of other competitors to manage their ships was based on sharing the same values and same beliefs. We are indeed fortunate in ESM that our business partners like BP appreciate and support what we intrinsically are and assist us to remain steadfast in our chosen path of a moral and ethical business.
