We are pleased to announce the new appointment of a Principal at SIMS Lonavala. Prof. D.V.B. Swamy, from a field of academics in Defence Engineering colleges by the Indian Navy for more than 40 years, has just taken the position as Principal of the SIMS pre-sea campus.

Former principal of the AICTE approved, Naval College of Engineering, INS Shivaji, Lonavala, Prof. Swamy has also been a Scientist of Category G (the most senior level) with the Defence Research & Development Organisation. His vast experience includes a wide spectrum of fields such as Teaching, Training, Research, Infrastructure Development and Administration, just to mention a few.

Prof. Swamy’s extensive knowledge and experience as a well-rounded professional makes him the perfect individual to lead and guide the young cadets at SIMS, Lonavala. We wish him all the best in his new appointment.
