A Letter from ESM...            
Racing against time- well, that's exactly what we did in ESM, Mumbai office during the entire month of September. Apart from the usual take over of vessels- for which we are always prepared, we had additional activities like shifting to the new premise - a whole shining, spanking floor exclusively for recruitment purpose, another floor with a library, conference room, conference hall complete with a compact store room to be shared with SIMS.The premise is being officially inaugurated by Chief executive of MPA RADM (NS) Lui Tuck Yew on 05^th October.

Our hearty congratulations to entire staff of ESM, Mumbai and a big thank you to Capt. Yunus Shipchandler for his tireless contribution in overseeing the completion of the task.

Another event which we all are waiting with great anticipation and excitement is the ground breaking ceremony of the pre-school campus of SIMS at Lonavala- about 45 minutes from existing SIMS campus at Govandi, Mumbai. Mr. G.S.Sahni,Director General of Shipping,Government of India has agreed to be the chief guest and grace the grand occasion. Hearty congratulations to SIMS and we wish them all the best in achieving another milestone in  international maritime training!
