Following crew members of M.T.British Oak received the first three monthly BP incentive awards in recognition of their outstanding performance on board. At an award ceremony held on board on
31st July. and they were presented with a certificate and cash awards distributed among the five.

August was a busy month and the prospect of September looks busier. M.T. Olmeca sailed out on her maiden
voyage on 11/08/03 From Japanese ship yard and calling Los Angeles,USA
with her first cargo Congratulations to our staff on board who could impress all those present during the delivery with their enthusiasm and hard work leading to safe delivery of the vessel.
All the senior staff in ESM, Singapore office have to undergo compulsory (adult!) education on Safety and HSE courses under the hammer of Capt. Sundaram and his staunch disciples of the Quality and HSE
department.

However, it’s good that courtesy BP we also got to view some interesting safety videos produced by BBC, which kept our interest alive for the rest of the day long course. Special thanks for Mr. Steve Clews from BP shipping, Singapore who managed to keep us alert all through.
The message is : Safety culture is not just a buzz word which will ever go away from our ESM culture. We believe and work for it wholeheartedly.
Let's all work together so that each of us go home to our families safe and without any injury.
