The first home, first love, first teacher, ‘Every first’ of a human starts with their mother. It is certain that the memories of breakfast for every person are linked to their mom. Since breakfast is the first meal of the day and it breaks the fast, it is very important to have a healthy, rich breakfast, and these are my mother’s words. Every mom is always conscious about their children’s health; and keeping the same care in mind, I prepared one of my favourite dishes for breakfast, which is healthy and tasty for both children and the elderly.

Ingredients you'll need

  • 4-5 pieces minced garlic
  • 1/2 broccoli
  • 1/3 cup grated carrot
  • 1 1/2 cup oats
  • Pepper and salt
  • 5 large eggs
  • 4 cubes grated paneer
  • Sliced cucumber, beetroot and tomato to serve

Instructions

  1. First, sauté chopped garlic and vegetables with salt and pepper on stovetop until tender, then transfer to ovenproof nonstick skillet.

  2. Make mixture of beaten eggs with grated paneer, grinded oats, ¼ teaspoon salt, and pepper powder. Add this mixture to ovenproof nonstick skillet, and stir occasionally until large curds form and edges begin to set.

  3. Transfer the skillet to an oven and bake until eggs are puffed, golden, and just set for about 2 minutes. Let it cool for 5 minutes. Serve frittata with sliced cucumber, beetroot and tomato.
