This dish is an appetizer that features chicken wings transformed into a fun, bite-sized treat. The chicken is marinated in a flavorful blend of spices and sauces, then coated in a crispy batter and deep-fried to perfection.

Ingredients you'll need

  • Chicken Wings (Full-Sized) 6 pcs
  • Oil (For Frying) 2 cups or 500 ml
  • Chilli Powder 2 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tbsp
  • Pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Soy Sauce 2 tbsp
  • Flour 1/2 Cup or 60 gm
  • Corn Flour 1/2 Cup or 60 gm
  • Chilli Powder 1 tbsp (For Taste Adjustments)
  • Egg 1 pc
  • Water 1/4 Cup or 60 ml

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, salt, and pepper. Then, add soy sauce, vinegar (or lemon juice), and tomato ketchup. Mix well.

  2. Adjust the taste with salt and chilli powder, if required.

  3. Add the lollipop chicken into the marinate. Mix it well then set aside for a minimum of 30 minutes.

  4. Coat the marinated chicken in egg, flour, and corn starch—this makes the chicken crispier when fried.

  5. Heat oil on high heat, then add the chicken pieces. Reduce to medium heat and let the chicken cook for 10 to 12 minutes, flipping occasionally to prevent burning

  6. When done, strain on some paper towel.

  7. Garnish plate with sliced lettuce, radishes, tomatoes, carrots, green and red chillies, spring onions, before placing the cooked chicken and serve with ketchup or chilli sauce.
