Arvind Karandikar
Director, Marine Assurance
Capt. Karandikar joined Executive Ship Management, Singapore in 2012 and has been in the forefront of reviewing and streamlining HSEQA procedures as well as setting up voluntary Environmental Compliance program. He has been an integral part of developing new IT Platform for the organization lending over 35 years of his experience in the industry. A Master Mariner, he has sailed onboard a wide range of vessels and joined ashore in 1997 as Superintendent, working his way up acquiring rich experience in all facets of ship management and operations.
For over five years, Capt. Karandikar also served in Executive Offshore Pte Ltd, an Executive Group company, which owns and operates MPSVs and AHTS vessels operating in South East Asia. During his tenue, he oversaw the development and roll out of a new HSEQA and software system complying to OVMSA standards.
Presently he is also part of the team leading the Digital transformation journey of the Group.
Vijay Cherukuri
Assistant Director, HSEQA
Vijay Cherukuri joined onboard ESM managed vessel as a Senior Officer and subsequently grew in ranks and responsibilities. Joining onshore at the corporate office in Singapore, he has been instrumental in setting up systems and his team members are the passionate custodians of HSEQA processes within ESM.
